Portugal weather forecast predicts scattered rain and wind
Atmospheric instability is expected to affect Portugal through Friday, October 23, with precipitation patterns varying by region. According to the ECMWF model, rain will be dispersed, primarily impacting the North and Central regions. While Tuesday is expected to remain mostly dry with only very localized showers in the interior, Wednesday is forecast to bring precipitation to Coimbra, Guarda, and the northern interior.
In Madeira, the IPMA predicts cloudy skies and more intense showers, particularly on the northern slopes and in mountainous areas. Wind speeds in Madeira are expected to be weak to moderate (10 to 30 km/h) from the North/Northeast, though winds could reach up to 40 km/h in higher elevations during the early morning hours. Coastal waves on the northern coast may reach between two and three meters.
