Portugal's ACP Electric Car of the Year 2026 Announces Category Winners

ACP Electric Car of the Year Mercedes-Benz CLA Audi A6 e-tron Citroën ë-C3 Jeep Compass EV

The Automóvel Club de Portugal (ACP) revealed the winners of its 2026 ACP Electric Car of the Year contest in four categories. Portuguese participants voted among six electric‑vehicle candidates per category.

The Family category was won by the Mercedes‑Benz CLA, praised for high range, ultra‑fast charging and a blend of efficiency, performance and technology. The Premium category went to the Audi A6 e‑tron, noted for build quality, performance, interior space and long‑distance range. In the City/Utility segment, the Citroën ë‑C3 was favoured for urban comfort, functionality and efficiency. The SUV/Crossover award was claimed by the Jeep Compass EV, distinguished by robust design, interior space, driver‑assistance technologies and a range of up to 650 kilometres.

The overall ACP Electric Car of the Year will be announced on 4 September 2026.
