Portugal's EduQA fixes exam score export error on same day
Portugal's Institute of Education, Quality and Assessment (EduQA) confirmed that an export‑file error caused some national secondary exam scores to be sent incorrectly to schools on Friday evening at about 19:30. The institute, together with the National Exam Jury (JNE), alerted schools to the mistake and issued a corrected version of the results later that night, around 23:00, stating that the classifications were now fully validated.
The problem occurred during the first fully digital administration of the exams for roughly 166,000 students. Technical glitches in the digital process also forced the Ministry of Education to postpone the originally planned deadlines for publishing the results.
