Portuguese Sports Confederation visits Lousada infrastructure

Daniel Monteiro, President of the Portuguese Sports Confederation (CDP), visited sports infrastructures in Lousada to review local projects and priorities. Accompanied by Project Manager Manuel Veloso, Monteiro met with Lousada Mayor Nelson Oliveira and Sports Councilor António Augusto Silva to inspect facilities including the Lousada Sports Complex, the Municipal Pavilion, and the Lousada International Circuit.

The visit focused on the municipality's investment in maintaining and expanding its sports network, which serves the Tâmega e Sousa region and the Porto metropolitan area. Discussions also addressed the sustainability of sports clubs. During the meeting, Monteiro introduced the ‘Balcão dos Clubes’, a CDP initiative designed to assist sports organizations with specialized services, such as preparing applications for funding programs and general management support.
