Portuguese television networks announce programming changes
Portuguese television is undergoing programming shifts at major networks. On SIC, the popular format ‘Camião da Alegria’ has concluded its six-year run to make way for a new program titled ‘Reis da Tarde’. During a farewell broadcast on September 20, 2026, artist Emanuel reflected on the project's history, noting that the show traveled hundreds of thousands of kilometers to visit various towns and villages across the country.
Meanwhile, RTP1 has announced a new program titled ‘Negócio Fechado’, set to premiere in October. Hosted by Tânia Ribas, the show focuses on the valuation and negotiation of historical objects, antiques, and collectibles. Participants will bring items to be appraised by specialist Eduardo Alves Marques before presenting them to a panel of buyers, including Álvaro Roquette, Gonçalo Ferreira Marques, Batata Cerqueira Gomes, and Alexandra Carvalho.
