Portuguese television networks face shifting audience ratings

Portuguese television networks are experiencing shifts in audience ratings across various weekend and late-afternoon programming. RTP1 maintains a strong position with ‘Estrelas ao Sábado’, which achieved a 5.8% rating and 15.4% share on October 3, leading the afternoon block.

TVI’s programming has seen fluctuations. The game show ‘Roda da Sorte’, hosted by Cristina Ferreira, has stabilized with an average rating of 5.4% over ten broadcasts, though it continues to trail behind RTP1’s ‘O Preço Certo’, hosted by Fernando Mendes. Additionally, the debut of ‘Fora do Baralho’ saw a decline in performance, dropping to a 3.3% rating and 8.5% share in its second episode.

SIC also faced challenges in the afternoon slot. The ‘Talentos em Grande – Especial’ recorded the season's lowest results with a 2.5% rating and 6.6% share, falling significantly below its previous regular broadcasts and its competitors.
