POSCO Future M conducts nationwide volunteer activities for September Sharing Month

POSCO Future M is conducting a month-long relay of volunteer activities across its national business sites in South Korea, including Pohang, Gwangyang, Sejong, and Seoul, as part of its designated ‘September Sharing Month’. The initiative focuses on three major themes: sustainable environmental protection, support for future generations, and creating shared value with local communities.

In Gwangyang, employees have engaged in various activities such as visiting nursing homes to provide cognitive training and health education for the elderly, repairing facilities at local children's centers, and assisting local farmers with agricultural tasks. Additionally, employees collected, cleaned, and compressed waste cans to donate to the Jungma Welfare Center for the Disabled, with proceeds intended for welfare funds.

Other regional activities include marine debris collection at Cheongnim Beach in Pohang, environmental purification at Gobok Reservoir in Sejong and Tancheon in Seoul, and providing meal support for vulnerable groups. The company also continues its long-standing ‘Blue Dream Environmental Camp’, which has provided environmental education to approximately 1,600 children since 2013.
