Poste Italiane deploys advanced Postamat ATMs in Italy

Poste Italiane has deployed new generations of Postamat automated teller machines (ATMs) in several Italian locations, including Torano Nuovo, Segrate, and Buccinasco. These advanced devices offer enhanced functionality and security features.

The new Postamat Cash-In machines allow BancoPosta and savings book account holders to deposit cash directly into the machines, a service that complements traditional withdrawals. Users can view a summary of their deposit, including the count and denomination of banknotes, on a high-brightness digital monitor.

Other features across the new installations include cardless withdrawals via smartphone apps, utility bill payments, account balance inquiries, and mobile or Postepay credit recharges. To ensure security, the machines are equipped with anti-skimming technology, video surveillance, and banknote staining systems to prevent theft.
