Poste Italiane expands service network and public administration access

Poste Italiane is expanding its service network across Italy to counter the decline of traditional banking branches. In the Calabria region, the company has deployed 483 Postamat ATMs, with the province of Cosenza leading with 174 units operating 24 hours a day. These automated services allow for balance inquiries, mobile top-ups, bill payments, and cash withdrawals via the Poste Italiane app.

Additionally, through the Polis project, the company is renovating post offices in smaller municipalities to provide essential public administration services. For example, the renovated Olginate office now offers access to registry certificates, INPS services, and passport applications and renewals, allowing citizens to submit documentation without visiting a police station.
