Poste Italiane Reopens Renovated Offices in Nereto and Arre

Poste Italiane has completed the renovation of two small‑town post offices in the Abruzzo region of Italy under its Progetto Polis programme. The Nereto office reopened for the public after a overhaul that introduced new furniture, low‑consumption lighting and environmentally‑friendly upgrades, restoring a key service point for the Val Vibrata area.

In Arre, the via Roma office also reopened on 28 July 2026, offering not only traditional postal services but also INPS pension statements, anagrafica certificates and on‑site passport applications through a partnership with the Ministry of the Interior. Both locations now feature a dedicated lane for visually‑impaired users and modernised public‑administration counters, reflecting the project’s aim to modernise and broaden service access in municipalities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants.
