Poste Italiane reopens renovated offices in Saracena and Riace

Poste Italiane has reopened renovated post offices in Saracena and Riace following the completion of modernization works under the Polis initiative. This program aims to promote economic, social, and territorial cohesion in Italian municipalities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants.

The renovated facilities feature new furnishings, energy-efficient lighting, and low-environmental-impact solutions. Accessibility improvements include dedicated lanes for the visually impaired and lowered counters for easier interaction.

Beyond traditional postal services, these offices now serve as hubs for public administration. Citizens can access registry certificates, INPS services (such as pension slips and tax certifications), and passport services. Through an agreement with the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, residents can submit passport documentation directly at the counter for home delivery, eliminating the need to visit a police station.
