Poste Italiane reopens renovated offices under Polis initiative

Poste Italiane has completed renovations at its post offices in Montepaone Lido and Arquata Scrivia as part of its ‘Polis’ initiative. This program aims to promote economic and social cohesion in approximately 7,000 Italian municipalities with fewer than 15,000 inhabitants by upgrading local postal branches.

The renovated facilities feature modern furniture, energy-efficient lighting, and low-environmental-impact solutions. Accessibility improvements include dedicated lanes for the visually impaired and lowered counters.

Beyond traditional postal services, these offices now serve as hubs for public administration. Citizens can access registry certificates and INPS services, such as pension slips and tax certifications. Additionally, through an agreement with the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, residents can apply for or renew passports directly at the counter, with an option for home delivery.
