Poste Italiane rolls out 'Poste Delivery Web' for luggage and bike shipping

Poste Italiane introduced a new service called Poste Delivery Web that lets customers ship luggage and parcels up to 70 kg within Italy and up to 30 kg abroad. Shipments can be arranged online via the Poste website or the Poste App, with options for home pickup, delivery to a different address, a post office, or a Punto Poste point.

The service integrates the Borsellino Spedizioni credit system, offering up to a 15 % bonus on each top‑up that can be used immediately for new shipments. Users can track parcels from dispatch to arrival through the website or app, receiving email or SMS notifications.

A related offering, 2ruotExpress, enables the transport of motorcycles, scooters and bicycles within Italy and to Barcelona. Items are handled by Sda, the express arm of Poste Italiane, insured against fire, theft and damage, and placed in metal cages with satellite tracking. Customers can collect the vehicles at any of the 90 Sda branches nationwide.
