Poste Italiane unveils Rinnova Prima bond and June payroll bonus for staff

Poste Italiane has launched a new medium‑term savings bond called “Rinnova Prima”. The state‑guaranteed bond has a four‑year term and a fixed gross yield of 2.25 % payable at maturity. It can be subscribed only by holders of dematerialised bonds that are about to expire, excluding minors and “Risparmio Semplice” products, and must be booked at a post office within the thirty days preceding the original bond’s maturity.

The company also announced a significant payroll bonus to be paid on the 26 June 2026 payslip. Gross amounts range from about €1 954 for postal carriers to over €2 570 for branch staff, taxed at a reduced 1 % rate. Additional welfare bonuses of €100, €300 or €600 are available depending on the conversion percentage of the reward, plus a €50 bonus for employees with no recorded absences. The scheme applies to both permanent and qualifying temporary contracts.
