Poste Italiane's POLIS upgrades close Casola office, reopen Mioglia branch

Poste Italiane is implementing its POLIS modernization programme in small Italian towns. The post office in Casola di Napoli will be closed from 15 July to 29 August 2026 for renovation, with temporary services offered at nearby offices in Lettere and Gragnano. The closure is part of efforts to make local branches more digital and functional.

In Mioglia, the renovated post office has reopened after the POLIS works. The new premises feature low‑impact design, accessible counters, and additional public‑administration services such as INPS documents and passport issuance, allowing residents to obtain these without visiting the police headquarters.
