povo2.0 launches 5th anniversary campaigns with Google Pixel discounts

povo2.0, the online-only mobile brand from KDDI, is launching several promotional campaigns to celebrate its fifth anniversary and the founding of Google.

One campaign, running from September 25 to October 21, 2026, offers new registrants 500GB of data valid for three days upon SIM activation. Additionally, new users can receive a 20% discount code for Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10a devices via the Google Store.

Separate anniversary promotions include a ‘5-yen topping’ available throughout October 2026, providing 0.5GB of data for 24 hours to new data-only plan subscribers. A ‘povo Gacha Special’ will also be available from late September, allowing users to pay 555 yen for a chance to win various data rewards, including unlimited data for five days.
