Power outages scheduled in Campo Largo and Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

The Companhia Campolarguense de Energia (Cocel) announced a series of planned power cuts in Campo Largo, Paraná, to carry out maintenance, reinforcement and improvements on the distribution network. The outages will affect the Centro, Jardim Rondinha, Rondinha and Itambezinho neighborhoods on specific dates in early July, with work such as low‑voltage cable replacement, transformer upgrades and post installations. All work will proceed only if weather conditions allow.

Separately, CEEE Equatorial will perform maintenance on the electricity grid in the northern coastal region of Rio Grande do Sul. From 29 July to 8 August, scheduled interruptions lasting a few hours are expected in 16 municipalities, including Arroio do Sal, Capão da Canoa, Torres and Tramandaí. The work includes corrective maintenance and network expansion to improve reliability, and will also be carried out only under favorable weather conditions. Both utilities emphasized that these are planned outages, not emergency interruptions, intended to enhance service quality.
