Power Rangers Disney+ Reboot Remains in Development

Hasbro confirmed at the San Diego Comic‑Con press event that the live‑action Power Rangers reboot for Disney+ is still in early development. The series, overseen by showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz, has not been cancelled but also has not received an official greenlight. The upcoming show will feature a new team of Rangers who inherit the classic colors—Red, Pink, Yellow, Blue and Black—while the original characters will not appear in the suits. The premise involves these new heroes being chosen to become the first Power Rangers team in decades, with the world having forgotten the Rangers’ existence.
