The winning ticket was a $2 Quick Pick purchased at a Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh in Quincy. The winner opted for a lump-sum payment after consulting with legal and financial advisors. This prize marks the second-largest lottery win in Illinois history and the eighth-largest in Powerball history.
Recent Powerball drawings have continued, with the September 26 drawing producing winning numbers 14-40-52-55-57 and Powerball 24. The September 28 drawing resulted in numbers 49-42-21-29-17 with Powerball 07. Additionally, the Double Play drawing for September 28 yielded numbers 11-20-26-43-46 and Powerball 18.
