Following the Illinois win, subsequent drawings failed to produce a grand prize winner. By the September 21 drawing, the jackpot had risen to an estimated $313 million, with a cash option valued at approximately $133.6 million. Secondary prizes in late September included a $1 million Match 5 winner in New York and a $1 million prize won in the United Kingdom. In Louisiana, at least one player won $100,000 during the September 21 drawing.
By the September 26 drawing, the jackpot had increased to $360 million, with a cash value of $149.8 million. The winning numbers for that drawing were 14, 40, 52, 55, 57, and a Powerball of 24, featuring a 3x Power Play multiplier.
