Powerball jackpot reaches $35 million after unclaimed drawing

The Powerball jackpot has risen to $35 million for the upcoming Monday drawing, with a cash option valued at $15.2 million, after no winner was identified in the recent Saturday drawing.

In a previous drawing on Wednesday, a $1.04 billion jackpot was won by a player in Illinois. While the top prize went unclaimed in the most recent weekend drawings, several players secured significant tier-three prizes. In Washington, two players matched four white balls and the red Powerball; one won $50,000, while another utilized the PowerPlay multiplier to increase their prize to $100,000. An additional player in Eastern Washington also won $50,000 in the same drawing.

Winning tickets for the Washington prizes were sold at the Puyallup Food Center in Puyallup and an AM PM in Mukilteo.
