Poznań launches €85,000 competition for eco‑friendly social housing on Naramowice

Poznań’s Poznańskie Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego (PTBS) announced an urban‑architectural design competition for a new residential estate on Bielicowa Street in the Naramowice district. The project will provide multi‑family buildings for long‑term rental with moderate rents, ground‑floor commercial premises, garages and extensive green areas that incorporate water‑retention functions. A total prize pool of 85,000 zł will be awarded – 35,000 zł for the first place, 25,000 zł for second, 15,000 zł for third and 10,000 zł in honorary prizes. Applications to participate must be submitted by 22 June, with complete design proposals due by 7 September. The competition results are slated for September 2026, after which the winning team will be invited to negotiate the preparation of full project documentation. The brief highlights an emphasis on ecological solutions, energy efficiency and compliance with local zoning regulations.
