Pozzuoli displacement rises following Campi Flegrei seismic activity

The number of displaced residents in Pozzuoli continues to rise following the earthquake in the Campi Flegrei area. Recent updates indicate that approximately 4,217 to 4,330 citizens remain displaced due to evacuation orders.

Of those displaced, several thousand have requested autonomous housing contributions (CAS), while others are staying in hotels or local reception centers like the Palatrincone. While some families have begun returning to their homes following safety verifications, the emergency situation persists.

Authorities in Naples and the Campania Region are working to address the crisis. Efforts include conducting structural inspections of buildings, protecting cultural heritage in religious sites, and proposing legislative amendments to expedite repairs for minor damages. These measures aim to facilitate a faster return to normalcy for the affected population.
