Pozzuoli residents return home following seismic activity monitoring
In Pozzuoli, authorities are managing the aftermath of seismic activity in the Campi Flegrei area. Following a tremor on July 31, 209 people (85 families) have been permitted to return to their homes after evacuation orders were revoked.
Local officials, including the Prefect of Naples, are coordinating emergency housing and building safety. The Vigili del Fuoco have deployed 13 specialized teams to conduct structural inspections, completing 837 checks to date. Additionally, 367 interventions have been carried out to recover personal belongings from evacuated properties. Currently, 617 people remain affected by the situation, with some residing in hotels and others receiving CAS housing contributions.
