Prabhas film Fauzi teaser sparks controversy

The makers of the upcoming action thriller Fauzi have released a teaser and first look for actor Prabhas to coincide with his 47th birthday. The film, scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2027, is set in the pre-independence era and features Prabhas as a rebel soldier and Indian spy aiding the Indian National Army.

The teaser, titled ‘File No 25’, has drawn mixed reactions due to its fictional portrayal of historical figures. It depicts a meeting between Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Adolf Hitler during World War II, in which Bose praises the protagonist’s effectiveness. Some viewers have criticized the film for potentially trivializing historical figures and the serious nature of the era through its use of humor and fictionalized dialogue.
