Prabowo-Gibran administration satisfaction hits 50.1 percent
A survey conducted by the Arawicaksa Institute reveals that public satisfaction with the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka administration stands at 50.1 percent as they approach two years in office. Within this figure, only 3.3 percent of respondents expressed being ‘very satisfied.’
Conversely, 44.8 percent of the public reported dissatisfaction, including 6.1 percent who are ‘very dissatisfied.’ The remaining 5.1 percent of respondents were either unsure or did not provide an answer. Senior researcher Rudi Hartono noted that the narrow margin between satisfied and dissatisfied citizens highlights significant challenges for the administration.
Hartono compared these findings to previous Indonesian administrations, noting that President Joko Widodo also experienced satisfaction levels below 50 percent during his first term following unpopular fuel subsidy policies, before seeing improvements through economic and infrastructure development. The survey indicates that the administration faces pressure to address pressing public concerns, particularly regarding price stability.
