Pradamano teenagers receive mopeds after lemonade stand is halted by authorities

Three teenagers, aged 13 to 14, in Pradamano, Italy, drew national attention after their attempt to fundraise for Piaggio Ciao mopeds was interrupted by local authorities. The youths had set up an improvised stall to sell lemonade, coffee, and homemade sweets to gain independence, but the initiative was halted following a report from a passerby regarding a lack of necessary health and administrative permits.

The incident sparked widespread public indignation, leading to a wave of national solidarity. The Moto Club Morena has stepped in to support the boys, organizing a community breakfast at Parco Rubia on August 29. The club will cover all necessary permits and administrative costs for the event.

During the event, proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the charities ‘La Casa di Joy’, which supports children with cancer, and ‘La Nostra Famiglia’, which assists people with disabilities. Additionally, the Moto Club Morena and Ciao Club Italia will present the three teenagers with Piaggio Ciao mopeds, along with a safe driving course and necessary documentation.
