Pradamano teenagers lemonade stand incident

Three teenagers in Pradamano, Italy, drew national attention after local police cautioned them for operating an unauthorized lemonade, coffee, and pastry stand. The youths had intended to use the proceeds to purchase vintage Piaggio Ciao mopeds. While authorities clarified the intervention was a warning regarding food and beverage regulations rather than a punitive measure, the incident sparked widespread public indignation.

In response to the situation, a wave of national solidarity emerged. Various benefactors and motorcycle clubs, including Moto Club Morena and Ciao Club Italia, intervened to support the boys. Efforts included a GoFundMe campaign that raised over 2,500 euros and the organization of a community breakfast at Parco Rubia to cover administrative costs and permits.

As part of the community response, the teenagers will each receive a Piaggio Ciao moped, along with a safe driving course and necessary documentation. Additionally, proceeds from organized community events are being donated to charities ‘La Casa di Joy’, which supports children with cancer, and ‘La Nostra Famiglia’, which assists people with disabilities.
