Pradera and ProChile launch entrepreneurship initiatives
Pradera shopping centers in Guatemala have launched the second edition of ‘ChiquitiEmprende,’ an initiative inviting children aged 6 to 13 to present their small businesses and products. Registration is open from September 7 to 25. Between 5 and 10 mini-entrepreneurs will be selected from each participating location, including Chimaltenango, Chiquimula, Escuintla, Huehuetenango, Puerto Barrios, Xela, Zacapa, and Vistares. Selected participants will host a market on October 16 and 17 to sell their goods. Additionally, the Fundación Juan Bautista Gutiérrez will provide workshops and video tutorials to help families improve their business ideas.
In Chile, ProChile has opened applications for its ‘E-commerce Mentoring 2026’ program. This free initiative, conducted via Zoom from October 16 to 30, aims to help Chilean companies integrate marketing with international sales using artificial intelligence. The program offers 12 spots for companies that have an active digital sales channel. The curriculum covers diagnostics, product adaptation, market research, sales channels, and operations, with the goal of producing a 90-day implementation plan. Applications close on September 25.
