Prague airport access restricted due to D7 motorway construction

Drivers traveling toward Václav Havel Airport Prague from Kladno and Slaný face new disruptions due to the second stage of the Aviatická junction construction. Starting Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the exit from the D7 motorway toward the airport in that direction will be closed.

An official detour has been established via Evropská street. Drivers arriving via the D7 are instructed to continue straight on Lipská street to the next exit for Prague center/Ruzyně/Terminal 3, then re-enter the airport access from the opposite direction. The closure is expected to last until September 25, 2026. Travelers are cautioned that ongoing roadworks in the vicinity of the airport may cause significant delays.
