Prague Airport passenger attacks ground staff after denied boarding
A passenger attacked four employees of ground-handling company Menzies Aviation at Václav Havel Airport Prague on Thursday evening. The incident occurred at Terminal 2 near Gate C9 after the woman was denied boarding on a Ryanair flight to Rome due to her late arrival.
During the confrontation, the passenger became aggressive and bit an employee who had stepped in to protect a colleague. The injured staff members required medical treatment following the attack.
Airport police responded to the scene and used restraint equipment to detain the woman. She was subsequently escorted from the boarding area and handed over to the Czech police. Authorities are currently investigating the incident as disorderly conduct.
