Prague and Havlíčkův Brod road works scheduled for June 2026

In June 2026 Prague’s District 8 will carry out extensive surface repairs and preparatory works on detour routes ahead of the major reconstruction of Kbelska Street. The Technical Administration of Roads (TSK) has already renovated over 14,000 m² of roads, and in June will further revamp OSN Square, Kolbenova Street, and create a temporary roundabout on Budovatelská Street to accommodate increased traffic once Kbelska is closed.

Meanwhile, the town of Havlíčkův Brod will fully close the Rozkošská Street bridge over the Rozkošský Stream starting 2 June 2026 for several months to repair the bridge. Traffic will be diverted to Ledečská Street, and bus routes will be rerouted with temporary stops. Pedestrians and cyclists will use a provisional walkway and a steel footbridge. The closure is planned to remain in effect until the end of August.
