Prague to host inaugural Vietnam Great National Solidarity Festival in Europe

The first Vietnam Great National Solidarity Festival in Europe is scheduled to take place in Prague on October 31 and November 1. The event aims to strengthen cohesion among Vietnamese communities across the continent, honor their contributions to national development, and promote friendship between Vietnam and European nations, specifically the Czech Republic.

Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Duong Hoai Nam, stated that the festival carries a core message of unity, attachment to the homeland, and shared responsibility for the future. He emphasized that overseas Vietnamese remain an inseparable part of the nation, connected by language, cultural identity, and family traditions.

The festival is intended to serve as a platform for Vietnamese associations in Europe to share experiences, strengthen organizational links, and mobilize collective efforts. Ambassador Nam noted that the Czech Republic was selected as the venue due to its large, dynamic, and well-integrated Vietnamese community, as well as its status as a strategic partner of Vietnam.
