PRANKE GmbH introduces automated solution for German e-invoicing mandates

PRANKE GmbH has introduced a service designed to help companies comply with upcoming German e-invoicing mandates. The service, known as PRANKE Electronic Invoice (PER), utilizes an automated process that accommodates different partner requirements through a single workflow.

EDI partners continue to receive invoices as INVOIC messages, while all other recipients receive ZUGFeRD invoices via email. This approach allows businesses to meet legal requirements without needing to overhaul their existing ERP systems or purchase additional software modules. The service also provides access to the PEPPOL network.

In Germany, the regulatory timeline for e-invoicing is phased: as of January 1, 2025, domestic companies must be able to receive e-invoices. The obligation to issue e-invoices begins on January 1, 2027, for companies with an annual turnover exceeding 800,000 euros, and extends to all other VAT-registered companies on January 1, 2028.
