Pravesh Verma accuses AAP of using workers for extortion in Delhi

Delhi PWD Minister Pravesh Sahib Verma has issued a video addressing the recent dispute regarding road construction work in Tilak Nagar. Verma launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing Arvind Kejriwal of allowing ‘goons’ to operate in Delhi for the purpose of extortion from government employees.

Verma claimed that an AAP worker involved in the recent incident had a prior criminal record. He alleged that three months ago, this individual and the nephew of MLA Jarnail Singh were arrested after an attempt to extort money from a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) employee, which allegedly resulted in the employee being severely beaten.

Furthermore, Verma asserted that the individual involved in the Tilak Nagar disturbance is not a resident of Delhi and uses a Dubai-based mobile number. He criticized Arvind Kejriwal for his scheduled visit to the area, suggesting that the leader is coming to support individuals who engage in illegal collection and violence against municipal staff.
