Premios Juventud awards held for first time in Marbella, Spain
The 23rd annual Premios Juventud awards ceremony took place on Thursday, September 3, at the Starlite Auditorium in Marbella, Spain. This marked the first time the event was held in Europe, moving from previous locations in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Panama.
Major winners included Romeo Santos and Prince Royce, who each earned three awards for their collaborative project ‘Better Late Than Never’. Shakira also secured three awards, including Best Female Artist, the OMG Collaboration for ‘Dai Dai’ with Burna Boy, and Best Pop Song for ‘Bésame’ with Alejandro Sanz.
Other notable recipients included Aitana, who won three awards including Best Pop Album for ‘Cuarto Azul’, and Alejandro Fernández. Bad Bunny and Bizarrap were also recognized, winning awards in categories such as Best Tour and Best Producer, respectively, despite being absent from the live event.
