Pres. Prabowo inaugurates Inpres road projects in Gorontalo, North Sumatra

President Prabowo Subianto participated virtually in a preparatory meeting in Gorontalo for the 2025 Inpres Road Package, highlighting the program’s role in boosting connectivity, reducing logistics costs and supporting agricultural and fishery markets in the region. Local officials, including Gorontalo Regent Sofyan Puhi, affirmed readiness to host the President’s upcoming visit and emphasized the synergy between central and regional governments.

In North Sumatra, Governor Bobby Nasution reported that the President officially opened four Inpres road segments — a total of 7.10 km covering routes in Serdang Bedagai, Simalungun, Toba, and Tebing Tinggi. He linked the new roads to the national goal of food and energy self‑sufficiency, noting the expected benefits for farmers and traders. President Prabowo stressed the importance of maintaining the infrastructure for continued economic growth.
