President Bola Tinubu Gains Grassroots Backing in Lagos via EKO57 and Agege Mobilisation

The EKO57 Local Government (LG) Group, founded by popular figure Lege Miami and active across 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas in Lagos State, issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to building a strong political structure for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The group’s objectives include mobilising loyal supporters, canvassing widely, and supporting the re‑election of Tinubu, as well as backing Obafemi Hamzat as a future governor of Lagos.

In Agege Constituency II, residents praised state assembly member Jubreel Abdul‑Kareem Ayodeji for a range of developmental and empowerment programmes – from the annual “Jubilation Football Competition” and vocational training in solar‑inverter and CCTV installation to the distribution of over 5,100 free JAMB registration forms, food‑aid drives, cash support for widows, and enrollment of about 1,000 constituents in the Lagos State Health Management Agency health insurance scheme. The community linked these achievements to President Tinubu’s national policies and intensified calls for his re‑election.
