President Bola Tinubu pledges diaspora assistance while APC highlights Nigeria’s reform progress

President Bola Tinubu met with Nigerians in Kigali, Rwanda, assuring the diaspora that his administration will restore the country’s global standing. He said domestic economic reforms are yielding a brighter, more stable economy and directed the Charge d’Affaires to work with the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission to resolve passport and visa processing delays at the High Commission.

All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda echoed the reform narrative, declaring that the Tinubu administration’s policies will deliver long‑term prosperity. He cited recent maritime data showing 1,092 ocean‑going vessels handled in the first quarter of 2026, oil production near 99 % of OPEC’s quota, new 330 kV transmission lines in Edo State and an added 600 MW to the national grid as evidence of growing investor confidence and infrastructure development.
