President Emomali Rahmon inaugurates new facilities in Sughd Province

President Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated two new facilities in the Bobojon Ghafurov district of Sughd Province, Tajikistan.

First, the President opened a vegetable oil production facility owned by Anko Invest LLC. Built by the Farovon Company Group, the plant is designed to process up to 200 tons of raw materials daily, with an annual capacity of 70,000 tons of oilseeds. The automated facility features five production lines for extracting, processing, and packaging sunflower, cottonseed, and blended oils under the ‘Anko Invest Oil’ brand. The project has already created over 20 permanent jobs.

Additionally, President Rahmon inaugurated the Hayot Private Gymnasium in Haydar Usmonov village. The four-story educational institution was constructed by local entrepreneurs and is designed to accommodate 1,200 students per shift across 45 classrooms. The gymnasium includes specialized facilities for music, handicrafts, and sciences, as well as a 500-seat assembly hall and a library. The opening of the school has provided 70 permanent jobs for local residents.
