President Rahmon's regional development visits

Overview

President Emomali Rahmon has conducted several visits to regional districts in Tajikistan to oversee agricultural and infrastructural developments.

In August, the President reviewed an agricultural exhibition in the Faizabad district. The event showcased local production capacity, including grains, legumes, and vegetables, with officials noting that the total area under agricultural crops in the district has increased to 11,370 hectares.

By September, the focus shifted to Sughd Province, where President Rahmon inaugurated new facilities in the Bobojon Ghafurov district. These included a vegetable oil production plant by Anko Invest LLC, capable of processing 200 tons of raw materials daily, and the Hayot Private Gymnasium, a four-story educational institution designed to accommodate 1,200 students per shift.
