President Emomali Rahmon inaugurates new school and industrial facilities in Tursunzoda
President Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated several new social, industrial, and educational facilities in Tursunzoda, Tajikistan. A primary highlight is the opening of Secondary Educational Institution No. 21, a modern school designed to accommodate 1,920 students across two shifts. The facility features 41 classrooms, including specialized rooms for mathematics, biology, languages, music, and military training, as well as an educational laboratory and a child development center.
In addition to the school, several industrial and service enterprises were commissioned to boost local employment and infrastructure. These include the Amigo limited liability company, which produces 40,000 tonnes of mineral wool annually, and a garment workshop by Umedi Safiya that manufactures school uniforms. Other developments include a brick manufacturing plant by Muhammadzohid limited liability company and a 5,000-tonne capacity cold-storage facility to support the local agricultural market. The expansion also includes new preschool institutions and various tourism and administrative buildings.
