President Emomali Rahmon reviews agricultural exhibition in Faizabad
President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan visited an exhibition in the Faizabad district showcasing agricultural products, traditional crafts, and national cuisine. The event highlighted the district’s agricultural capacity and the skills of local artisans and women.
Officials reported that farmers in the district have increased the total area under agricultural crops to 11,370 hectares this year. Efforts have focused on expanding the cultivation of grains, legumes, industrial crops, potatoes, vegetables, and melons. Additionally, 240 hectares have been used for replanting crops such as corn, bell peppers, legumes, and the district’s notable pink variety of tomatoes.
The exhibition also featured traditional culinary items, including various breads and national dishes, demonstrating local craftsmanship and food production potential.
