President Javier Milei to lead Flag Day ceremony in Rosario

President Javier Milei will head the central ceremony for Argentina’s Flag Day on 20 June in Rosario, taking place at the National Monument to the Flag. He will share the stage with Santa Fe Governor Maximiliano Pullaro and Rosario Mayor Pablo Javkin, with the event scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and featuring the traditional student pledge of loyalty, speeches, cultural performances and an open‑to‑the‑public gathering of citizens, schools, security forces and community groups.

The celebration is the first Flag Day held after the monument’s complete restoration, financed by the province of Santa Fe and officially inaugurated on 17 June. The refurbished site, which had suffered years of deterioration, is expected to draw thousands of families and visitors. Milei has previously visited Rosario for other official activities, underscoring the city’s political and symbolic importance.
