President Mahama visits Ahafo Region for infrastructure review

President John Dramani Mahama concluded his Resetting Ghana Tour with a two-day working visit to the Ahafo Region. During a public engagement at the Victory Centre Assemblies of God Church in Goaso, the President granted a request from a young man to shake his hand.

The visit focused on reviewing regional development and infrastructure. Mahama inspected several projects, including a poultry and meat processing facility in Bechem, the Tepa–Goaso Road under the Big Push Infrastructure Development Programme, and the Ntontroso Bridge, which connects the food-producing area of Acherensua to the rest of the region.

During his tour, the President discussed government policies regarding economic recovery, healthcare, agriculture, and road construction. He also addressed preparations for Ghana’s 70th Independence Anniversary and assured local leaders and residents that the Ahafo Region would receive its equitable share of national development.
