President Prabowo Discusses Rising Foreign Investment Confidence in Indonesia

President Prabowo Subianto hosted a cabinet meeting at his Kertanegara residence in Jakarta on 14 June 2026. Attendees included Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Energy Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Investment and BKPM head Rosan Perkasa Roeslani (also CEO of Danantara), and other senior officials. Rosan presented a report on recent work trips to the United States, Europe and Asia, highlighting a notable increase in global investor confidence toward Indonesia and a surge in investment projects across strategic sectors.

President Prabowo ordered Rosan to convey the positive data publicly at the Merdeka Palace. The meeting was documented in an official Instagram post showing the President leading the discussion with ministers around a table. The administration views the heightened foreign interest as a positive signal for the national economy amid global competition for investment.
