President Prabowo praises police for building over 1,000 nutrition kitchens in Indonesia

President Prabowo Subianto said the Indonesian National Police have actively constructed more than 1,000 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) kitchens as part of the MBG food‑security program. Speaking at the 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony in Cikeas, he described the police‑run kitchens as the “best” and noted that many international observers have lauded them. Prabowo also highlighted other police contributions, including the building of water wells, bridges and assistance to disaster‑affected communities.

The remarks underscore the police’s expanding role in national food‑security and disaster‑relief efforts and signal continued governmental support for the SPPG initiative.
