President Prabowo Subianto Plans Major Cabinet Reshuffle to Boost Governance and Public Trust

Political communication expert Syurya Muhammad Nur of Universitas Esa Unggul predicts that President Prabowo Subianto will launch a large‑scale reshuffle of his Red‑White Cabinet in the near future. The analyst says the change is intended to strengthen government effectiveness, accelerate priority programmes and preserve economic stability and public confidence. He emphasises that ministers must act as both skilled executors and “ultra‑competent communicators” for the public.

Nur warned that “a reshuffle is not merely political punishment, but a corrective step so the government machine runs in line with the President’s strategic agenda.” He identified several ministries likely to face scrutiny, including Tourism (Widiyanti Putri Wardhana), Agrarian Affairs (Nusron Wahid), Economy/Fiscal (Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa), Transport (Dudy Purwagandhi), Village Development (Yandri Susanto), UMKM (Maman Abdurrahman), Investment (Rosan Roeslani), Public Service & Bureaucracy (Agus Andrianto, Rini Widyantini), Environment (Raja Juli Antoni) and Labour (Yassierli). The analyst stresses that clear, consistent communication in the digital age is crucial for maintaining public trust.
