Boyamin Saiman, coordinator of the anti‑corruption NGO MAKI, called the step “elegant” and said it would curb inter‑agency rivalry and keep the probe within legal bounds. The transfer includes cases linked to the former junior special prosecutor Febrie Adriansyah, whose house was raided and who subsequently resigned.

University secretary Emiridial Ulza also lauded the president’s commitment to uphold the law without bias, urging the public to focus on the ongoing process rather than new distractions.
