President Prabowo urges civil‑servant introspection and expands free nutrition program at Lombok dam inauguration

President Prabowo Subianto delivered a speech while inaugurating the Bendungan Meninting dam complex in Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat on 10 July 2026. He called on all members of the state apparatus – bureaucrats, military, police and prosecutors – to "introspeksi" and remember that they belong to the people, stressing that corruption must not be tolerated.

He also announced that the government will continue to broaden the Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) free‑nutrition programme nationwide, asking residents in areas not yet reached to be patient. "Ada yang belum sampai. Saya minta kesabaran karena itu memang perjuangan kita," he said, adding that full coverage is expected by the end of the year or early next year.

Prabowo framed both messages as part of a broader effort to improve public trust, enforce fair law, and ensure that government services meet the aspirations of the Indonesian people.
